OUGD103- Communication is a virus

For our book Naomi and I made some stickers which will sit inside the book, in the middle. We used the images from the book and placed them in small circles to keep them simple.

OUGD103-Communication is a virus

OUGD103-Communication is a virus

My partner Naomi and I have decided to make a book as a graphic response to communicate 'Get people to read more'. The content of the book be consist of facts that would be interesting and fun to children and question and answer formats. Our book will be different from others that exist as it will include references to where children can find more facts and information.

After receiving answers back from our questionnaire given to children aged 3-10, we focused on 6 subjects: The body, history, jokes, poems, animals and cooking.

Existing books we have looked at:

OUGD103-Communication is a virus

I drew these images using illustrator and tried to keep some of them simple and some more detailed to see the different variations. I have kept them in black and white as i plan to screen print them. As specified in the brief we can only use two colours plus stock. The two colours me and my partner Naomi have decided to use are green and yellow.
